There is a space for non-clinical contributions to people's recovery from mental illness. One of the strongest non-clinical contributions to recovery outcomes can come from taking peer-led approaches - that is people who have lived experience mental illness leading on recovery-focused work that contribute positively to the journey of their peers. Who better to inspire hope in people going through it than people who have been through it - & can share meaningful & effectively the value from their lived experience. Mental health services are encouraged to leverage peer-led approaches. BreezeLab offers several peer-led contributions to recovery.
