A bit about us

We are a team of 5 spread across three offices. We have offices in Birmingham UK, Abuja Nigeria, & Nsukka Nigeria. Our office in the UK works primarily with mental health organisations delivering coproduction-led research. Our offices in Nigeria work on a range of projects, both in-house products & delivering work for clients.

Emachi Eneje

Founder & General Lead

Emachi Eneje is a researcher with a special interest in recovery from mental illness & a technologist exploring technology in the services of mental health and emotional wellbeing - an area of current active work is his PhD studies. Emachi works with mental health organisation by delivering coproduction-led research that generates understanding of how services can be improved - and in doing so is developing a practice that combines approaches from user experience design, service design, traditional research methods, and coproduction. Emachi has lived experience of mental illness so appreciates how profound a difference having a good experience of mental health services makes to quality of life & recovery. Ekana Eneje

User Experience & Product Design Lead

Ekana is a User Experience Writer and Designer that is committed to harnessing the power of human-centered design and technology. Ekana’s current focus includes applying design to the challenges people face finding work and finding people who can do good work, working on coproduction that engages the issue of inequalities in mental health care with the aim of contributing to the efforts of bringing about a world where everyone has access to the right support they need to thrive. Ifunanya Ugwuanyi

Product Development & Research Lead

Ifunanya Ugwuanyi’s first love is of teaching, something which she has spent her whole career doing before joining BreezeLAb as the Product Development & Research Lead. A new challenge that she has jumped wholeheartedly into – applying the wealth of skills she already has, such as her skills in research, while learning new approaches to tackling problems in her new area of product development. Onyinyechi Abah

Health Research Lead

Onyinyechi Abah is a Public Health Professional with a special interest in Mental Health Advocacy. Onyinyechi collaborates with other health teams to develop, design and implement health programmes and provide health services. Onyinyechi possesses relevant skills in health promotion, programme development, communication and research – and in so doing engage in a practice that combines approaches from service design and traditional research methods. Onyinyechi has gained clinical experience in hospitals while developing and implementing various health programmes and mental health awareness campaigns with a dedication to improving community health outcomes.
